No. 8 Woodworkshop was founded in Rongotai Wellington in 2013. We went from being a secondhand dealer to a joinery business, focused on achieving environmental sustainability through the reduction of wood waste.
We believe that everything, especially native timber, has another cycle of use, that is why we always try to comply with a circular economy system. We can extract the maximum value from timber whilst in use, then recover or modify, regenerating products and materials at the end of their service life. This is particularly significant here in New Zealand, since we are living in an island where land is something precious and resources can be limited. Wasting building materials can generate a negative impact on the environment, therefore, we are here to help prevent this.
Within our services, the last couple of years we have been focusing in retrofit double glazing timber joinery all across Wellington. We cover from the Kapiti coast, to Wairarapa, outer suburbs like the Hutt, Porirua and Wellington City. As well as our traditional services of door and window repairs and restorations. We can repair anything! From superficial to deep structural damages such as wood rot.
Our work is completed within 3 to 4 weeks from the start of the project.
Reduce waste, save time and the environment!
